Art Requirements

Looking your best starts with the best artwork.

art requirementsTo ensure your project looks its best, it is important to start with optimal image quality. For example, if your original art’s size and resolution are too low, or compromised in any way, this will result in a poor print. Also different print processes require specific art formats. Below is a list of the preferred file formats and art requirements for the various garment decorating processes. If you are unable to provide art in the proper format, an art fee may be charged.

NOTE: For Quoting purposes, please submit art in any format that is representative of the desired design.

Screen Printing:

Preferred Format (.ai, .eps)

  • Must be sized the actual size of the desired print.
  • Convert Text to Curves For vector images, converting all text to curves before sending the file will allow you to use fonts we don’t have in our system. For Photoshop files you should rasterize/render all type layers before sending the file.

Additional Formats

  • .pdf, .jpeg, .psd, .tiff, .bmp, .png

Although not required, it is a good idea to send us your design at the size you would like it printed. 300dpi resolution preferred (the higher, the better).

Additional art fees may apply to clean up art that is not acceptable to  print.
